PITAHAYA

Its delicate taste invites us to eat it without further ado

Pitahaya grows in the tropical zones of the Andes.

The fruit is green in the first stages, and turns yellow as it ripens. The pulp is white and watery, with many and small seeds.

When fresh, the pitahaya can be considered an extremely tasty portion of sweetened water, boosted with phosphorus, calcium and vitamin C.
